Prepress Operator – Full-Time (On-Site) – Concord, ON
A well-established digital and lithographic printing company in Concord is seeking an experienced Prepress Operator to join our team. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in prepress production.
Responsibilities:
• Preflight, proofing, and preparing print files to ensure accuracy and compliance with production standards
• Editing and adjusting artwork as needed, including colour correction and minor design modifications
• Imposition and plate output (experience with Studio RIP workflow is a plus, but training is available)
• Ensuring proper file setup for both digital and offset printing processes
• Troubleshooting and resolving file issues to maintain production efficiency
• Collaborating with designers, press operators, and production staff to ensure seamless job execution
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in a prepress environment
• Strong understanding of digital and litho printing processes
• Proficiency in industry-standard software (Adobe Creative Suite, PitStop, imposition tools)
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work efficiently under deadlines and manage multiple projects
• Design experience is an asset but not required
