WCD is seeking an experienced, customer focused and knowledgeable signage professional to join our team as a Signage Installer. The successful candidate can liaise with the signage coordinators and production team members to ensure successful execution. A solid understanding of the signage business including various materials and substrates, and installation experience is essential for this role.
The Signage Installer must be a confident, well-organized, and disciplined professional who works well under pressure and can juggle multiple projects and priorities at the same time. We are seeking someone who is a strong team player and is tenacious and resourceful in ensuring projects are completed in alignment with specifications. In this role, the installer will interact with WCD clients on-site therefore customer service is required.

Job Responsibilities:
• Leads customers through a successful installation process.
• Works directly with project coordinators for scheduling and deadlines
• Liaises with production team to ensure all product is ready and quality checked.
• Strategizes on the best approach to difficult signage project installations.
• Provides regular status reports on projects and manages scheduling app by phone.
• Installation of interior signs, wall & window vinyl, outdoor vinyl & vehicles
• Able to weed (peel) and mask vinyl and apply vinyl to various types of substrates.
• Will work with other installers are larger jobs
Qualifications:
Education:
Minimum 3 years signage installation experience required, working with a variety of materials and substrates, including but not limited to 3M Adhesive vinyl, rigid substrates and construction materials.
3M installer certification is considered an asset.
Skills and Competencies:

• Strong visual, verbal communication skills
• Solution oriented to manage small issues on-site.
• Ability to prioritize and focus on multiple projects and tasks
• A team player who comes to work with a positive attitude
• Strong industry knowledge with attention to detail
• Mechanically inclined and skilled with power tools
• Proficient with computers.
