A leading packaging manufacturer in Toronto is currently seeking an afternoon production supervisor to join their busy team.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and oversee the afternoon production operations of packaging manufacturer.
• Coordinate and assign tasks to production staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of orders.
• Monitor and maintain quality control standards to meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Train, mentor, and develop production team members to enhance their skills and productivity.
• Collaborate with the morning production supervisor to ensure a seamless transition of work.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and promote a culture of safety awareness.
• Manage and optimize production schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines.
• Maintain accurate production records and reports.
Qualifications:
• Available to work afternoon shift
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Production Supervisor in a print/packaging facility
• Strong understanding of print packaging processes, equipment, and materials.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and efficiency.
