Location: 400 Humberline Drive, Etobicoke

Hourly Rate Range: $18.57 -$26.93 depending on experience and skill level & we are willing to train you if you are willing to learn!


Responsible for safely setting-up die cutting machines based on docket specifications and operating the press to produce good quality product. Maintains a safe work area while maintaining optimal productivity. Operates PHP, semi-automatic, and push board machines. Performs routine maintenance.

•Reviews docket specifications & lay-out sheets

•Obtains sheeted paper and proper die to set up order

•Inspects die for size

•Mounts die on plate

•Mounts plate to PHP cutting pad

•Locates die marks on printed sheets

•Picks out form numbers and multi prints

•Programs clamps & cutting

•Places paper on table & operates machine

•Removes finished blanks from the machine & arranges WIP on skids

•Clears waste stock

•Inspects the blanks

•Removes damaged and poor quality blanks & replaces them

•Inspects the product on set-up and throughout the run

•Responsible for quality of blanks produced

•Completes quality check list and follows quality program

•Performs basic maintenance on the machine as required: daily, weekly and monthly

•Maintains a clean and safe working area

•Other duties as assigned


•Minimum Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent

•1+ year die cutting experience a definite asset

•Basic knowledge of paper and litho stock, Any knowledge of paper grain

•Capable of heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs.

•Intermediate math skills to complete calculations needed for layout

•Proficient in reading/writing English

•Ability to read and understand written instructions (as per docket)

•Ability to write legibly & use ruler (to ensure quality by measuring product)

•Ability to work independently

•Punctual and dependable

•Team player

•Strong customer focus

•Willingness to work a rotating shift schedule (days, afternoons and nights)
