ESTIMATING MANAGER POSITION:



With a solid reporting line to VP Operations the Estimating Manager is responsible for overseeing the resources and performance for the Estimating team. The role ensures that the estimating function is completed in a timely and accurate manner. Additionally, the role may be called on to provide support on organizational initiatives.



Key Responsibilities:



•Understand and utilize EFI Pace or similar ERP system

•Organize workloads

•Cross train between Estimators and Buyers

•Ensure Estimating updates the standards and rates used by TI Group

•Oversee and audit complex estimate requests

•Keep VP Operations informed of general conditions and on matters of importance which could impact quality and costs

•Ensure common methodology for creating and reporting estimates, and are adhered to by the Estimating team

•Assists with RFP’s

•Maintain high degree of team knowledge of TI Group materials, substrates, equipment and general capabilities

•Assist in timely completion of NCR’s



Education/Knowledge and Skills:



•Post-secondary education including college or university

•Minimum of 5 years management experience in Print Production

•Strong Estimating background

•Solid knowledge of pre-press, finishing, manufacturing, packaging and shipping methodologies

•Knowledge of finishing and bindery workflows

•Computer literacy: MS Office. Advanced knowledge of MS Excel

•Excellent organizational skills

•Superior interpersonal and communication skills

•Ability to perform well under pressure

•Able to work in a fast-paced environment

•Strong problem-solving abilities

•Excellent verbal, written skills
