Description:
Currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Snr Prepress Tech to join a leading GTA Print Manufacturer. As a Prepress Tech, you will oversee projects and ensure the efficient and accurate preparation of files for print production. You will be responsible for coordinating workflow, and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the prepress process.
Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise a team of prepress technicians, providing guidance, support, and training as needed. Oversee the preparation and processing of files for print production, ensuring accuracy, quality, and adherence to client specifications. Coordinate with internal departments, including design, production, and customer service, to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of projects. Troubleshoot technical issues related to prepress equipment and software, and implement solutions to optimize efficiency and productivity. Maintain and update prepress procedures, standards, and best practices to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies. Monitor and manage inventory of prepress supplies, stay informed about new technologies and developments in the print industry.
Requirements:
• Minimum 5yrs prepress experience required,
• Ideally print Exp. but Label or Packaging experience an added asset
• Strong understanding of color management, image resolution, and file formats for print production.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements, and to implement innovative solutions to improve workflow and efficiency.
